Install InvoiceXO in Outlook
Open Outlook Web App
Go to outlook.office.com and sign in with your Microsoft 365 account. Open any email.
Open the Apps menu
Click the Apps icon (grid/puzzle piece) in the email toolbar → click Add apps → click Add from URL (or "Upload custom app").
Paste the manifest URL
Copy and paste this URL into the field:
https://invoicexo.com/manifest.xml
Click Add — InvoiceXO will appear in your Outlook ribbon immediately.
Connect OneDrive
Open any email with a PDF invoice attached and click InvoiceXO in the ribbon. Click Connect OneDrive and sign in with your Microsoft account. This only needs to be done once.
Extract your first invoice
Click the PDF attachment to select it, then click Extract Invoice Data. InvoiceXO will read the PDF and fill in vendor name, PO number, amount, and due date automatically.
Set your naming convention & save
Choose your file naming pattern using the token buttons — e.g. {vendor}_{po}_{amount}_{due} — then click Save to OneDrive. The renamed file is saved to your InvoiceXO folder automatically.
Installing on Desktop Outlook (Win32)
Open File → Manage Add-ins
In desktop Outlook, click File → Manage Add-ins. This opens the add-in manager in your browser.
Add from URL
Click + → Add from URL and paste https://invoicexo.com/manifest.xml. Click Add.
Restart Outlook
Close and reopen desktop Outlook. InvoiceXO will appear in the ribbon when you open an email.
Install InvoiceXO in Gmail
Open Gmail
Go to mail.google.com and open any email.
Get your deployment ID
Sign up at invoicexo.com/signin — your welcome email includes the Gmail deployment ID you need for the next step.
Install via Google Workspace admin
Sign in to admin.google.com → Apps → Google Workspace Marketplace apps → Add app → Add custom app → enter the deployment ID from your welcome email → Deploy to your users.
Extract & save to Google Drive
Open any invoice email — InvoiceXO appears in the right sidebar automatically. Click Extract Invoice Data then Save to Google Drive. Files are saved to an InvoiceXO folder in your Drive.
Deploy to your whole organisation
Open Microsoft 365 Admin Center
Go to admin.microsoft.com → Settings → Integrated apps.
Upload custom app
Click Upload custom apps → select Provide link to manifest file → paste https://invoicexo.com/manifest.xml.
Assign to users
Choose which users or groups get access. InvoiceXO will deploy to their Outlook within 24–72 hours.
